Publication gate: replace all bracketed fields and confirm the production-build audit in docs/store_privacy_forms.md. This describes a release with remote analytics and crash reporting disabled, matching current configuration. Enabling either requires revising it.

Who we are

Pomichi: Fish Friends is developed under the The Walking Puffin brand. The intended publisher is The Walking Puffin Limited, an Irish company that has not yet been incorporated. The planned postal contact is 1 The Mall, Lucan, Co. Dublin, K78 ET20, Ireland. Contact us about privacy at thewalkingpuffin@gmail.com.

[Before publication, confirm incorporation and the actual publisher/data controller. If the company has not been incorporated, identify the person or existing entity responsible instead. Confirm that the postal contact above is valid for privacy requests.]

A small explanation for children

Your fish and its name stay in your game. We do not have chat, advertising or player accounts. Ask a grown-up before buying anything or opening a website. Never put your real name or other private information in your fish's name.

Game information on your device

The game saves your fish's name, care and growth, decorations, coins, unlocked content, purchase entitlements and settings on your device so you can continue playing. Parent settings include a local PIN representation if you choose a PIN. We do not receive these game saves.

Clearing app storage removes local progress and settings. Uninstalling normally removes app storage, but your operating system may retain or restore backups depending on its settings. We do not operate a cloud-save service. Purchases may still be restored through the store.

Reminders

New games enable the hungry-fish reminder preference. The game asks for notification permission after the tutorial; existing saved opt-outs remain off. Delivery requires the device's notification permission. Notifications are scheduled on the device and do not use a remote push service. The fish's name may appear on the lock screen or a connected device according to operating-system settings. Disable reminders in parent settings or disable app notifications on the device. Where required, the OS requests permission.

Analytics and crash reports

This release does not send gameplay analytics or crash reports to our servers. It does not request an advertising identifier or include advertising SDKs. An analytics preference may appear in parent settings but does not activate remote collection in this release.

Google Play and your operating system may provide their own installation, diagnostic and store reporting under their terms and your account settings. These are separate from in-game analytics or crash-reporting services operated by us.

Purchases

In a release with purchases enabled, Google Play processes purchases under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive payment-card details. The game receives product and purchase information needed to unlock content and restore purchases, and saves entitlements locally. [Confirm whether final billing sends purchase tokens or receipts to a publisher server; if so disclose purpose, recipients, retention and safeguards here.]

There are no accounts, chat, advertising or cross-game tracking. We do not sell game data or use it to target advertisements.

Website visits and contacting us

Opening this page sends a normal web request, including your IP address, browser information and requested page, to our hosting infrastructure. These details can be personal data even though we do not ask for a name. This website has no cookies, ads or forms.

This website, including this page, counts visits with Umami, an open-source statistics tool that we host ourselves on the same server. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device. The statistics are not shared with other companies and are not linked to anything in the game. For each page view Umami records the page address, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and an approximate location derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored; visits are told apart with an irreversible identifier derived from the IP address and browser details. Browsers that send a Do Not Track signal are not counted. [Confirm Umami statistics retention and the applicable legal basis.]

Our hosting provider is UpCloud, and the shared server hosting this website is located in Poland. Technical request information is used to deliver and secure the website. [Specify actual access/security logs, retention and relevant international-transfer safeguards.] Our prepared Caddy configuration does not enable HTTP access logging; this does not establish what other infrastructure records.

If a parent emails us, we receive their email address and information they send. Please do not send a child's personal information unless necessary to resolve a request. We use messages to answer questions and privacy requests. [Set support-message retention, legal exceptions and mail-service provider/location.] For website/support processing, [confirm applicable legal bases, such as legitimate interests in securing/delivering the site and answering requests, or a legal obligation when handling statutory requests].

Parents' choices and rights

Remove local game data through device app-storage settings and manage notification permissions on the device. Contact thewalkingpuffin@gmail.com about information held through website or support activities or to request access, correction or deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restriction, objection and portability. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. We cannot retrieve local saves never sent to us.

You may complain to your local data-protection authority. [Confirm establishment; if Ireland, the authority is the Data Protection Commission: https://www.dataprotection.ie/.]

Changes

We will update this page and its date when practices change. If we introduce collection requiring permission, we will provide the necessary notice and obtain permission beforehand.
